Bariloche- Esquel- Los Antiguos- Lago Posadas- El Chaltén- El Calafate
Day 1 San Carlos de Bariloche.
Arrival at Bariloche and pick up of the rented vehicle. After receiving the driving instructions specific for the region, drive to the city. Accommodation and free time.
Day 2 San Carlos de Bariloche. B
Free day to take National Route 40 northbound and travel the outstanding path of the Seven Lakes.
Day 3 San Carlos de Bariloche / Esquel. B
We leave Bariloche heading south to Esquel. On the way, we suggest you take a detour to Pampa Linda to get to Cerro Tronador.
Day 4 Esquel. B
Today we suggest you visit Los Alerces National Park, declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Day 5 Esquel / Los Antiguos. B
We continue on the Route 40 towards Los Antiguos, crossing the province of Chubut, entering the province of Santa Cruz and passing by Perito Moreno and Los Antiguos.
Day 6 Los Antiguos. B
Depart early to cross to Chile Chico and travel the path that takes you to the Marble Chapels. Enjoy a boat trip to this curious formation.
Day 7 Los Antiguos / Lago Posadas. B
If you like adventure, take Zeballos’ Route, stop for a short walk, continue to the Portezuelo and reach the lakes Posadas and Pueyrredón.
Day 8 Lago Posadas / El Chaltén. B
We leave the village to reach Cueva de las Manos (Hand’s Cave) and visit this site declared a Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. After the visit, we continue to the south, towards El Chaltén.
Day 9 El Chaltén. B
Enjoy the variety of walks that Chaltén offers you. If you prefer adrenaline, we recommend rafting downhill or trekking to the Cagliero Glacier.
Day 10 El Chaltén / El Calafate. B
At desired time, leave the National Capital of Trekking to reach the land of Los Glaciares.
Day 11 El Calafate. B
Dedicate your day to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier, declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Day 12 El Calafate. B
Day at leisure until the time of your flight. Please, allow plenty of time for you to return your rented car at the airport.
